DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
§ 23152. Driving Under the Influence; Commercial Drivers.
(a) It is illegal for you to drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
(b) It is illegal for you to drive with a blood alcohol content of .08 or greater.
Note: It is assumed that your blood alcohol content was greater than .08 while you were driving if they do a chemical test within three hours after driving and your blood alcohol content is greater than .08.
(c) It is illegal for you to drive a vehicle if you are addicted to any drug. There is an exception for those participating in an approved drug treatment program.
(d) It is illegal for you to drive a commercial vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .04 or greater.
