In Arizona, the penalties for an Arizona DUI conviction are based upon the type of DUI that has been charged upon the defender and his/her criminal record.


Penalties as per the Dui law in Arizona:

 

First Impaired or BAC above .080

Fine

$250.00 fine, plus a surcharge, plus an additional $250.00

License

Suspension for 90 days

Jail time

10 consecutive days

Probation time

Up to 5 years

Ignition Interlock Device

Doesn’t require a functioning interlock device to be installed.

 

Second Impaired or BAC above .080

Fine

$500.00 fine, plus a surcharge, plus an additional $250.00

License

Revoked for 1 year

Jail time

90 days

Probation time

Up to 5 years

Ignition Interlock Device

You are required to install a interlock device in the vehicle.

 

First Extreme DUI (BAC above .150)

Fine

$250.00 fine, plus a surcharge, plus an additional $250.00

License

Suspended for 90 days

Jail time

30 days

Up to 5 years

Ignition Interlock Device

You are required to install a interlock device in the vehicle.

 

Second Extreme DUI (BAC above .150)

Fine

$500.00 fine, plus a surcharge, plus an additional $250.00

License

Revoked for 1 year

You are required to install a interlock device in the vehicle.

 

Felony DUI (3rd DUI within 5 Years, or DUI w/ License Suspended or Restricted)

Up to $150,000.00 in fines, plus a surcharge, plus an additional $250.00
